This innovative solution involves afforestation of a total of 1.37 hectares in four separate locations within the Municipality of Ruma. The sites will be planted with autochthonous saplings of oak, common ash, Japanese pagoda tree, maple, birch, and willow. This will create windbreaks and introduce green areas on parts of some roads, which is in line with the 2021-2030 Municipality of Ruma Development Plan. This will contribute to preserving biodiversity and increasing the resilience of the area to disasters and extreme weather caused by climate change.
