In order to improve air quality in Užice, the city administration plans to replace old, inefficient, and polluting furnaces in 65 socially vulnerable households with replacements that are energy efficient and environmentally friendly. In addition, the City will set up the City of Užice Energy Efficiency Fund to support energy vulnerable households according to predefined conditions and procedures with funds from the city budget and with assistance from private companies doing business in line with CSR principles.
