This initiative supports the development of software that enables patients with inflammatory bowel disease to have regular check-ups with a specialist via video call. The software is fully integrated into the information system of selected healthcare institutions. The Ministry of Health fully recognises this examination as a regular health check-up and it is legally equivalent to a standard examination. The pilot project was successfully implemented at the Zvezdara Clinical and Hospital Centre and had the effect of reducing CO2 emissions by 2.29 tonnes over a period of one year.
