The company “Master Team”, which manufactures solar panels, has set the goal of achieving energy independence through a series of innovations and ending the use of fossil fuels as an energy source. The solar thermal panels on the roof of the factory generate energy that is used to heat the facility in the winter. As they have been given the status of energy consumer/producer, they can supply the market with the surplus electricity generated. By applying energy efficiency measures and utilising renewable energy sources, the building now produces enough energy for its own needs and is no longer dependent on the energy grid. The company also organises trainings for solar panel installers, contributing to the retraining of workers for new, green jobs.
